It's a Boy!

God is in the details.

When we were matched with Momma J back in April - her baby girl was due in October. We felt so strongly that we would be adopting in October, but were heartbroken when we realized that we would not be moving forward.

Fast forward three short months, and we are matched with a baby BOY due with a scheduled c-section on 10-31! The song "In the Garden" by Kari Jobe has meant so much to me these past few months. In the song she says

"I realized you never left, and for this moment you planned ahead."

Another really amazing moment was when we spoke to Momma S for the first time. She mentioned that the Lord placed a name on her heart for the baby, and she had been calling him a specific name this whole pregnancy. The crazy part? It was THE SAME NAME we had been praying about!

In moments of doubt I revisit these beautiful pillars of God's provision. He has beautifully woven himself into every detail.

Back in September I asked God when we would adopt? He breathed "February" over me. Guess when our little boy was conceived?
